This is a full time position of 40hours per week.
The remuneration range for this role is $83,204 to $117,464 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity
We have an opportunity for an experienced legal coordinator/practice manager to join our team, providing executive and administrative support to the General Counsel and wider legal team, and to help create a well-organised, responsive and professional legal function.
This is a new team and will provide you with an opportunity to lead and enhance the legal team's operations, systems, processes and record keeping frameworks to enable the legal team to deliver high-quality legal services. You will:
Provide trusted executive support to the General Counsel, coordinating priorities, meetings, communications and key deliverables.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, implement technology solutions and improve ways of working.
Manage legal documentation, records, contracts and information systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and compliance.
Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external providers, acting as a key point of contact for legal operations and administration.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
Extensive experience in a senior legal administration, legal operations, practice management or similar role.
Proven ability to implement and optimise legal systems, technology and business processes.
Experience supporting senior executives and managing highly confidential and sensitive information.
Strong knowledge of legal administration, records management, document control and operational best practice.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and legal technology platforms.
