The remuneration midpoint for this role is $90,697 (including KiwiSaver), depending on skills and experience
The opportunity
This is a great opportunity to build your project management career while gaining exposure to a busy and diverse programme of infrastructure work across the Wellington region.
As Project Coordinator, you’ll work alongside experienced Project and Programme Managers, providing the coordination that helps keep projects organised, visible and moving forward. With multiple projects underway, no two days will be quite the same – you’ll coordinate schedules and meetings, track actions and milestones, manage project documentation and support financial and performance reporting.

You will:
Coordinate project plans, schedules, meetings, actions, and timelines, keeping multiple workstreams moving and escalating risks when required.
Manage project documentation and records, ensuring information is accurate, controlled, accessible and aligned with project governance requirements. Track project activities, milestones, design reviews and outstanding actions, providing clear visibility of progress across the team.
Support project financial administration and reporting, including budgets, expenditure, purchase orders, invoices and performance information.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience working within a project delivery environment in a coordination role.
An understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or PRINCE2.
Experience using Microsoft Project or other project management tools to coordinate and track project information.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and multiple workstreams.
Confidence preparing project updates, tracking actions and producing accurate reports and documentation.
Good financial administration skills and confidence working with budgets, invoices, purchase orders and project costs.
