Provide day to day engagement support, planning and delivery of stakeholder and community engagement activities on behalf of Tiaki Wai.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The opportunity
As Stakeholder Engagement Advisor you will work as part of the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team providing day to day engagement support, assisting with engagement planning and delivering stakeholder and community engagement activities across a range of projects and programmes.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of stakeholder engagement and communications processes, you will bring a proactive mindset and can-do attitude. In this role you will:
Deliver stakeholder engagement and communication activities across projects and initiatives.
Build strong relationships with colleagues, communities, stakeholders, iwi, councils and project partners.
Develop clear and effective processes, content, guidelines, and engagement materials.
Monitor stakeholder feedback and emerging issues, providing timely insights and responses.
Improve engagement practices through reporting, evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
A relevant qualification in communications, engagement, public relations, or equivalent experience.
Experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, or community engagement.
Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
A customer-focused and continuous improvement mindset.
A can-do approach to work, be well-organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence.
